Jonathan Cox – President & CEO 

 

In his most recent role, Jonathan was the Senior Vice President of the Transportation Logistics Group at NGL Energy Partners, LP. As the General Manager of this oil and gas transportation logistics business, Jonathan oversaw the creation and all subsequent operations of the business.

At NGL, Jonathan built a team of logistics professionals and grew this transportation business both organically and by acquisition to over 450 employees and over $150MM in revenue. Jonathan was also personally responsible for the integration of 6 major acquisitions and created a scalable and automated logistics framework to unite and streamline these acquisitions and the logistics business as a whole. The transportation business included inland marine transportation, crude trucking, a railcar business, and a supply chain logistics function. In the past, the transportation business had also included crude terminals and small pipelines. 

 Before his promotion to SVP of Transportation, Jonathan was the Chief Information Officer for NGL (formerly High Sierra Energy) and oversaw all technology operations and projects for the company. These projects included commodity purchase management, truck automation and ticketing, ERP, and several supply chain process improvement efforts. 

 Jonathan’s background before NGL includes over 15 years of various technology roles in various industries including an executive role at DCP Midstream applying technology to their natural gas (and liquids) midstream logistics processes. Jonathan’s career has included a unique combination of energy and technology experience that has maximized business results for the entities that he has served.

 

 

 

 

 

Rachel Peele – Chief Operating Officer

 

Rachel was most recently Vice President of Supply Chain & Logistics for the Transportation Group at NGL Energy Partners. In her time with NGL, Rachel built and managed the team responsible for lease crude transactions to process and track the data associated with purchasing 4MM barrels of oil per month.

She oversaw the integrations of back office systems from multiple major acquisitions, allowing the company real time visibility into the volumes and financial results.   

 

Prior to her time with NGL, Rachel was the Operations and Inventory Manager for Pecos Gathering & Marketing, LLC and its affiliated companies. As the 2nd hired employee, she worked directly with the company owners to grow Pecos from purchasing and transporting 7,000 barrels/month to over 1 million barrels/month in the Permian Basin. She then analyzed business opportunities in the Eagleford and worked with owners to establish Striker Oilfield Services in South Texas, growing it to transporting over 1 million barrels/month. For the Pecos Companies, she spearheaded treasury initiatives to secure a $72 MM line of credit and managed the annual audit as required by company’s line of credit. She was also responsible for the management of banking relationships, held signature authority on all accounts, managed relationships with operators, negotiated lease crude purchase and sale contracts, managed the Division of Interest associated with all lease crude purchases, and oversaw the monthly revenue distribution, state compliance reporting and state severance tax reporting. Her vast midstream and upstream experience gives her a unique ability to evaluate and streamline back office transaction processes. 

 

 

 

 

Sherie Altenhofen – Vice President    

    

Prior to joining Juniper, Sherie’s role was Operations & Financial Manager for the Crude Logistics group at NGL Energy Partners, LP.  In this role Sherie was responsible for overseeing financial reporting and analysis, budget creation, forecasting, metrics and identifying areas of opportunity to become more efficient and reduce costs. 

She managed the accounts payable department which reconciled third party carrier invoices in excess of $50MM annually and captured savings of $500M and the accounts receivable department which billed over $120MM in revenue annually. 

  

Sherie joined High Sierra Energy, L.P in 2007 and spent five years growing and supervising the accounts payable department from a staff of 3 to 12 employees.  Sherie managed the increasing volume of invoice processing for 10 companies under the High Sierra Energy umbrella, ensured timely payment via biweekly check runs, executed daily wires and crude settlement on the 20th.  She maintained banking relationships, oversaw and processed monthly 70+ company credit cards, automated check deposit process and was a key player in two bank conversions and dashboard creations.  Sherie led and integrated 10 acquisitions, acted as the special matter expert for implementing Oracle 11i & 12 and ran over 16M 1099’s for royalty owners annually. 

  

  

Sherie has over 15 years of accounting, treasury and administration experience.  Prior to High Sierra/NGL, Sherie worked within the accounting department for New Zealand’s largest Investment firm.
